What is that Gallery2Blog?
Gallery2Blog simply allows you to convert a list with gallery urls (+name, description, etc) to a RSS feed. If you use Thumblogger then Gallery2Blog will add your blog posts directly to your Thumblogger blogs.

Most sponsors have a big list of Free Hosted Galleries, this big list can be often exported to a text file (or CSV). The file can be given to Gallery2Blog which will convert it to a RSS feed. This text file that contains the gallery urls (and most of the time gallery names and descriptions) will be called CSV from now on.

But as we all know these galleries often don't have a extensive gallery description as needed for blogging. That is why Gallery2Blog offers you a easy and efficient way to change the gallery descriptions.

Lets get started!

I just added full blog editor support to thumblogger:
http://www.thumblogger.com/blogapi/newindex.html

With a blog editor you can manage blog posts from all your blogs with one program, really handy! :) But the really handy thing of those blog editors is that when you include a image in your blog post the editor uploads it automatically to your server.

Free ones:

Qumana
http://www.qumana.com/
Free

w.bloggar
http://wbloggar.com/
Free

Need to pay:

BlogJet
http://www.blogjet.com/
$ 39, trail version available

ecto
http://ecto.kung-foo.tv/
$ 17,95, trail version available

I especially like the simpleness of BlogJet, shame it is not free, but still a nice program if you can invest something.

The first 2 parts of the "how to submit to adult blog directories" series were appreciated by many people and quite a success. That's why i wrote a third part.

Don't submit blogs that are feeded by only 1 RSS feed
Blogs that only are feeded by 1 RSS feed are most of the time boring, for me as webmaster and especially for the porn surfer. The porn surfer isn't stupid and will see that many blogs have the same content. This especially is valid for webcam feeds. The solution: combine RSS feeds, do a search, get at least 3 feeds and put the entries in this feed at random order on your blog.

Put the recips on the sidebar
Recips are the links that point back to the blog directories. Most blog directories require a link back if you submit a blog. You can place these recips anywhere you like but the preferred location is somewhere on your sidebar. Putting them at the bottom of your blog, where no surfer will ever go, can cause your blog to be declined. Read more stuff

What is the news?
A new free wordpress blog host has seen the light:

SensualWriter
http://sensualwriter.com/

Bla bla bla
It is mainly targetted at housewives and couples that would like to have a erotic blog. These people are now all at thumblogger or have tried a blog at thumblogger but found it too "feature rich". And i must admit it is a bit too much for the average non-adult webmaster blogger that doesn't want to make money.

Is it special? Read more stuff

Targeted blog traffic are surfers looking for blogs in a specific category, if you for example have a blog about babes then targeted blog traffic are surfers looking for babe blogs.

The following blog directories only list blogs in a specific category and will send highly targeted traffic to your blog:

I've just created a page which lists handy tools for the adult webmaster interested in blogging:

This is the second part in the 'how to submit your blog' series. Many webmasters submit their blog in a category, place a link on their blog and never look at it again. That should be fine with most directories, but some directories sort the links on how many surfers the blogs send. So if blog1 sends 5 hits a day and blog2 only 2 hits than blog1 will be placed above blog2.

Statistics prove that links at the top of a list often get more clicks then links at the bottom of the list. So for you as blog owner it may be handy to get your blog at the top of the list. And like i just said you can do that, just send some visitors and you will see your blog moving to the top of the list.

Now there are a couple ways you can hint your visitor to click a link in a big list of links:
- make a link to a blog directory that sorts on incoming hits bold or add a little "cool" or "hot" icon in front or at the back of the link. A visitor will see that and will likely click the link.
- move the link to a blog directory that sorts on incoming hits to the top of your list with links, there is nothing wrong with a non sorted list.
- move the link to a blog directory that sorts on incoming hits to a better position on your blog, maybe in a "Friends" section. Visitors often pay more attention to "Friends" then to "Links".

A couple blog directories that sort blogs on incoming hits are twistedblogs.com, adultblogdirectory.com, sexbloghunter.com and adultblogspider.com. There should be a couple more.

If you find a blog directory that doesn't sort blogs on incoming hits then there might be a good chance that the directory has a small toplist on a higly visible place. A toplist is a small list (15 to 20 items) that shows the blogs that bring in the most hits from the last 24 or 48 hours. If you own a relative old blog with good traffic you might want to send visitors to the blog directory to try to get on the toplist. How easy or hard this is depends on how old and popular the blog directory is. But you can always try.

Sex Blog Hunter now also sorts the listed blogs on the amount of visitors they send, just like Adult Blog Directory.

And blogs can now also receive 'stars', 4 stars and top postion for the blog that sends the most visitors in his category to 1 star for the blog that sends a few visitors.

I've just added Wordpress support to Rss2Anywhere. In fact Rss2Anywhere now support anything that supports the blogger api, so blogger.com and almost any blogging package. This feature is still in beta.

I've also wrote a little 'Rss 2 Wordpress Configuration Tutorial' which can be read here.

Submitted by twan on 03-23-06 22:30.
I wrote a little tutorial for Rss2Anywhere, it's about how to create a blog that updated itself.

What is this?
This short tutorial will result in a auto updated blog, which means you don't have to spend time on this blog once you have configured it. Setup once and make money from it! There are a couple things you need:
- A Rss2Anywhere account, Rss2Anywhere will take care of auto updating your blog.
- A Thumblogger account, the blog that will be auto updated will be hosted at thumblogger. (wordpress support is under way)
- At least 3 RSS feeds, for example from 3 of your blogs or 1 of your blog and 2 RSS feeds from sponsors. These blogs don't have to be hosted at thumblogger, so any RSS feed from any blog which is still updated will work.
Register
First create a account at Rss2Anywhere, you will only need to enter your email address and password. The email that you can use to login will be send to the email address.
Now login.
Got a Thumblogger blog?
If you already have a blog at thumblogger which you would like to be auto updated then please skip this step. If you don't have such a blog yet then get a account at thumblogger and create a empty blog. ( Thumblogger, your first steps )

I always wanted to write something about trust in adult business. I've been really active in adult business for over 1 year and i've seen and talked to a lot of people, readed a lot discussion, drama board threads and board threads posted by cheaters. In fact i think their are a lot 'not so honest' people in adult business. But lets face it, it is really easy to cheat and once you get caught you just get another domain, make a new identity and continue your cheating stuff.

Now when you know that, the question you ask is: who the hell can i trust and how do i know if i can trust someone? The short answer: you can't trust anybody for a 100%, people are people and people do strange things, it's the same as in real life but in adult business it is a bit worser.

Most adult webmaster boards have a search function which allows you to search for the posts that someone posted. You can even search for the threads a person made. You can do this on multiple boards. Now read the replies and messages the person made. I found this a great way to see what a kind of person someone is.

The next thing you can do is to find someones websites. You can do this by searching boards and hoping to find urls to their websites. I found whois.sc a good source, just type a domainname in the box and take a look which other sites are on the server (this requires a free registration for 5 sites, a silver membership for all sites). Now go and use google and/or board search engines to see if their is something negative about the by whois.sc listed sites.

If whois.sc is telling that their are over 100 sites on the server then you might want to check if it is a server with virtual accounts. Most experience adult webmasters aren't on a virtual account but have one or more servers. There are of course exceptions.

Will be continued.

A BIG discussion is going on at cozycampus, go and discus!

Huh?
Rss2Anywhere allows you to post items of a RSS feed with a specific interval on your Thumblogger blog.

RSS = difficult?
Not with Rss2Anywhere, just create a account, import your blogs, add a RSS feed, add RSS items to the Post Queue and ready!
Buzzled? A full quickstart is available that leads you through the process of setting up a RSS feed for one of your blogs:
http://www.adultblogresource.com/rss2anywhere/help.php

Screenshot!

I'm a expert, what's in it for me?
A lot, you can add RSS items from multiple feeds to the Post Queue of one blog. You can use the 'Auto queue' feature so that new RSS items will be added to the Post Queue of one or more blogs automatically. A lot more, the system is quite flexible.

The Future
A lot of interesting features will be added including support for Wordpress, just imagine the advantages of this.

I want it!

Everytime the bot behind SexBlogDemon generates a error i will receive a email with the error message, they are send to a special mailbox. This morning i saw that the bot now generate over 400 error mail a day.
Now i knew that it was time to remove to blogs that generated errors, i saw a lot of 404's (not found) and 403 (forbidden) and 302's (redirect). I noticed that a lot of blogger blogs hosted at blogspot were removed. Most of them were quite old (over a year), it's really a shame that a blog someone worked hard on is removed within minutes and you can't do anything about it.
But now SexBlogDemon is cleaned up and i hope i won't receive that many error mails tomorrow :-)

I've updated blog submitter:
- added a 'Any Additional Comments' optional field, in this field you can give the directory owner a hint who you are. He might accept your blog quicker. For example if you always submit quality adult blogs the directory owner might recognize you and accept a blog without looking.
- added two tips to the Recip section:
Note: putting these links somewhere where nobody can see them is not allowed.
Note 2: some blog directories give blogs which sends visitors a better position.

I've just fixed a little bug which appeared on page 2, 3 etc, the coolness rating was 100% at the top of those pages.

I've also added a little number which indicated the amount of hits a blog did send. It's a bit easier to understand than those coolness rating pictures.

Also on the first page, the page with category link, sometimes the category list is sorted in ascending order and sometimes in descending order. The advantage of this is that the 'web-log' and 'voyeur' category now have a equal chance to be at the top as the 'amateur' and the 'asian' category.

As a blog directory webmaster i'm always looking for ways to improve the directory. One thing i always hated was the fact that links to good blogs were moved to the bottom of the pages, cause new links were added at the top of the page.

I can flag the blogs that bring good traffic and change my script so that flagged blogs stay at the top of the page. But that's a lot work, checking and flagging every single blog in the directory.

Then i thought why not change the script so that it sorts the blog links on the amount of visitors they send to my directory. Just like toplist do, the blog that send the most visitors will be placed at the top, the blog that sends the second most visitor will be placed second, and so on.

At the moment i'm testing this strategy at adultblogdirectory.com. It just stays a directory, webmasters don't have to change their recip codes. It's done totally automatic. I'm using the cheat protection that i used on the small toplist on sexblogzilla.com.

Let's see how it goes!

Long long
It took a long time, but once i started working on it it was done in a evening.

What?
You can now import your blogs hosted at blogger.com into thumblogger.com

Let see!
Here's a screenshot:

Difficult?
It's quite easy and straightforward, just enter your blogger account and the importer will display a list of your blogs hosted at blogger. Then just click on of the blogs in the list and the importer will get all blog posts from blogger and put it in your thumblogger blog.

I want it
Please go to the 'Blog' section > 'Import' tab and read the instructions carefully.

The shared box of the free blog hosting service Thumblogger is one feature not many people understand, but it is one of the most handy features at thumblogger.

Let's explain, the shared box may contain any html, from a little banner to a collections of links. The content of the shared box will be displayed on all your blogs. If you for example have Blog1, Blog2 and Blog3 and you put a banner from nubiles.net in the shared box than the banner of nubiles.net will be displayed on all your blogs.

I most time put links to blog directories to which i submit in the shared box, this way i only have to type in the links one time and they will appear on all my blogs. Another good way to use the shared box is to put a good converting banner in it, this banner will appear on all your blogs and you will receive a bit more income.

You can find the shared box feature by going to the "Options" section > "Boxes" tab > click the "Shared box (shared box)" link. Make sure that you move the shared box to the left or right (on the "Box move" tab).

This is the first post in a serie posts on how to submit your blog to adult blog directories.
- The amateur categories starts with a 'A' so it is at the top of the category list most of the time. It in general gets the most hits. Submitting to this category is really dangerous, cause when your blog isn't a real and pure amateur blog your blog is moved to the Other category or simply not accepted (if you frequently submit a non-amateur blog to the amateur category).
- Submitting more then 1 blog a day is not a smart thing, most blog directories will accept 1 blog a day. I often plan accepting the other submitted blogs the next day but sometimes i forget this and the other submitted blogs are not accepted.

Until next time!

History (boring)
Many people mailed me asking for a quick way to submit blogs to adult blog directories. I always recommended form fillers like roboform. But when using roboform it was still a pain in the ass to submit. Then the submit lists ( 1 ) appeared, that was a lot faster. But their was room for improvement.

What's up?
Blog Submitter allows you to submit your blog to 12 adult blog directories with only 1 form:
http://www.adultblogresource.com/submitter/

Nothing more?
* You can choose to which directories you would like to submit.
* Don't worry if you have already submitted a blog to one or more of the blog directories. Blog Submitter will detect which blog directories already accepted and listed your blog.
* Recip codes are generated for you.

How much $$ ?
It's free for everyone. No login is required. Please don't submit more than 1 blog a day, otherwise i'm flooded in the submissions.

I want to read more!
There really isn't more to say. Blog Submitter is simply simple.

Please don't submit more than 1 blog a day, otherwise i'm flooded with submissions.
